Jonas trained as a pianist shaped by neo-classical composers like Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds and scores for film and advertising, while Marius is a lifelong drummer rooted in percussion and the urban electronic scene. Their sound lives between melancholic downtempo and uplifting, lush melodies — the name nods to their polar northern roots and Detroit's techno heritage. Their debut EP 'expedition into' on Stil vor Talent earned recognition across Germany and beyond, and they've since collaborated with Deutsche Grammophon, Ki Records, and Cercle (including an India-filmed live video for 'Backwaters'), plus the techno marching band MEUTE on the track 'Verden'. They remain prolific in 2026 with a steady run of singles including 'Flicker (Faro)' and 'Light Up'. Known for energetic, emotive live shows, pølaroit are exactly the kind of mid-tier touring producers who would benefit from public, real-time stream receipts. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/polaroit#artistas) 8.4M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2024 Verified streams · verified today 8,405,513 +12 K a day · +374 K a month, on average 20 projects · 10 artists · since 2024 spotify 100 % 8,405,513 87 days · Total ## Records [1M has passed 1,000,000 streams Found You pølaroit 46 days ago](https://obra.art/polaroit/found-you) [200K has passed 200,000 streams Ve Analogue pølaroit 46 days ago](https://obra.art/polaroit/ve-analogue) [60K has passed 60,000 streams Light Up pølaroit, Wezn 46 days ago](https://obra.art/polaroit/light-up-2) [400K has passed 400,000 streams Celo pølaroit 54 days ago](https://obra.art/polaroit/celo) Most played ## Most played [01 Found You pølaroit 1.052.523 1,1 M](https://obra.art/polaroit/found-you) [02 Azur Fejká, pølaroit 499.144 499 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/azur) [03 Way Home pølaroit 496.678 497 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/way-home) [04 Faro Fejká, pølaroit 495.156 495 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/faro-2) [05 Celo pølaroit 473.469 473 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/celo) [06 Maara Fejká, pølaroit 443.167 443 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/maara) [07 Océana Fejká, pølaroit, Kinnship 369.595 370 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/oceana) [08 A Thread pølaroit, Canea Quartett, ABBOTT 276.842 277 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/a-thread-3) [09 A Thread pølaroit, Canea Quartett, ABBOTT 276.842 277 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/a-thread-2) [10 Where The Waves Fade pølaroit, Canea Quartett, ABBOTT 271.970 272 K](https://obra.art/polaroit/where-the-waves-fade-3) Has worked with ## 10 artists.
