He adopted the name 'Philanthrope' after encountering the word during his first semester studying psychology, drawn to its meaning. Sample-based hip-hop and jazz shape his signature sound — moody, deep, blunted instrumentals crafted almost entirely in Logic Pro. His catalog spans full-length projects like Clockwork and Cabin in the Woods, his early 2015 release Quintessenz und ihre Nuancen, and collaborations with artists such as Obijuan, Benaddict and mommy. Beyond producing, he holds an A&R position at Chillhop Music, where he curates playlists and helps sign new instrumental talent. With roughly 493,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a steady run of fresh 2026 singles, Philanthrope remains one of lo-fi's most prolific and respected voices. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/philanthrope#artistas) 1.8M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2025 Verified streams · verified today 1,835,952 +2 K a day · +60 K a month, on average 20 projects · 12 artists · since 2025 spotify 100 % 1,835,952 82 days · Total ## Records [70K has passed 70,000 streams ENIGMA Philanthrope 8 days ago](https://obra.art/philanthrope/enigma) [70K has passed 70,000 streams ENIGMA Philanthrope, Parental, SwuM 8 days ago](https://obra.art/philanthrope/enigma-2) [30K has passed 30,000 streams Medium Raw Flitz&Suppe, Philanthrope 20 days ago](https://obra.art/philanthrope/medium-raw) [30K has passed 30,000 streams Youth Ian Ewing, Philanthrope 20 days ago](https://obra.art/philanthrope/youth-2) Most played ## Most played [01 Akxnyte Philanthrope, invention\_ 424.269 424 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/akxnyte) [02 Transit Philanthrope, NINETOFIVE 142.232 142 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/transit) [03 LOBELIA Philanthrope 76.339 76 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/lobelia-2) [04 LOBELIA Philanthrope 76.339 76 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/lobelia) [05 ENIGMA Philanthrope 71.150 71 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/enigma) [06 ENIGMA Philanthrope, Parental, SwuM 71.150 71 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/enigma-2) [07 Bluthirnschranke - Remix Rokko Weissensee, Philanthrope 67.038 67 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/bluthirnschranke-remix) [08 NO LOVE LOST, Pt. 2 Philanthrope 65.743 66 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/no-love-lost-pt-2-2) [09 Wald - Remix Rokko Weissensee, Philanthrope 48.249 48 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/wald-remix) [10 Panikattacke - Remix Rokko Weissensee, Philanthrope 45.908 46 K](https://obra.art/philanthrope/panikattacke-remix) Has worked with ## 12 artists.
