Bio

Paxkalito is a French trumpet player, composer, and beatmaker based in Paris, blending live trumpet and flugelhorn performances with jazz-infused lo-fi hip-hop. He began his musical journey as a teenager drawn to Miles Davis and Chet Baker, later working as a professional trumpeter in live bands before channeling that energy into his own productions. His beats merge jazz, soul, and hip-hop with catchy melodies — often recording instruments live to preserve a natural, quartet-like groove. Signed to Stereofox Records, his 2026 run includes singles Old Hand and The Dreamer / Morning Mist ahead of the Follow Me EP with keyboardist Albert Miguez. Editorial placements span Lofi Girl, Spotify's Jazzy Beats and mellow lofi mornings, plus Apple Music's Lo-Fi Jazz and Deezer's lofi umami — with breakout tracks like Sauvignon accumulating millions of streams.
