Classically trained in piano, harp, and cello, she fuses orchestral instrumentation with industrial textures, club-oriented electronics, and avant-pop songwriting. She broke through via Montreal's underground rave scene and a 2018 MISM x Boiler Room set, later releasing the EP "We Share Our Blood" through Make It Rain Records and Ghostly International. Her debut album "Frame of a Fauna" (2021) was longlisted for the 2022 Polaris Music Prize. With Helena Deland she records as the duo Hildegard, whose 2024 LP "Jour 1596" was longlisted for the 2025 Polaris Prize.
