Funk survivor of the 23rd century — his tagline is Beats, Tape, and Thumbs — he draws on the soul of the 60s, funk of the 70s, pop radio of the 80s, and boom-bap beats of the 90s to build a sound that feels nostalgic yet fresh. Bagale rose to massive digital reach through the YouTube Audio Library: his tracks have soundtracked more than 3.5 million YouTube videos with over 7.6 billion cumulative views, while his own catalog spans seasonal album series (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), beat compilations, and full LPs like People Music, King Canyon, Immersed, and Public Access. He releases through TrackTribe and runs otismacmusic.com, where he sells vinyl, drum packs, and merch. The Purple Tapes VOL. 01 — a Prince-inspired mixtape of flips and remixes — dropped in 2026, with new singles continuing through early 2026.
