NTEIBINT (pronounced n-thaï-bint, Greek for 'David') is the musical alter ego of Athens-based producer George Bakalakos. One of Eskimo Recordings' go-to artists, he crafts the kind of emotional, melodic disco built on lush sonic soundscapes and strong grooves that is guaranteed to move body, heart and soul. Beyond his own releases, he composed music for the opening ceremony of the 2015 European Games and hosts a daily radio show on En Lefko 87.7 in Athens. He has collaborated repeatedly with Greek singer Σtella (Sub Pop) and vocalist Matina Sous Peau, and his remix work spans artists such as Chet Faker and Satin Jackets. His sound sits at the warm intersection of nu-disco, indie dance and emotive electronic pop.
