Renowned for his mix of traditional sounds from his adopted home, old-school boom bap, and ethereal soundscapes, he has carved a distinctive lane in instrumental hip hop and chillhop. Drawing inspiration from Nujabes, Uyama Hiroto, Emancipator, and J Dilla — and described by Stereofox as floating in a cross-genre sweet spot between Bonobo and Freddie Joachim — his catalog spans 200+ songs and collaborations with Saib, Tenno, softy, Kalaido, and more. Supported by Lofi Girl, Hip Dozer, Chill Beats, and The Jazz Hop Cafe, with 100M+ streams and placement on hundreds of thousands of playlists, he also created an official Assassin's Creed Shadows remix (The Fujibayashi Legacy) in 2025. Recent releases include the 2025 album On the Verge of Colour, the March 2026 EP In the Time It Takes to Wonder, and the June 2026 single trying to remember, with a vinyl LP (Vagrant Winds) planned for Autumn 2026. 34.4M Total plays & views Projects10 Since2020 Verified streams · verified today 34,357,840 +18 K a day · +550 K a month, on average 10 projects · 1 artist · since 2020 spotify 100 % 34,357,840 69 days · Total ## Records [15M has passed 15,000,000 streams Whispers of Eden Nogymx 18 days ago](https://obra.art/nogymx/whispers-of-eden) [900K has passed 900,000 streams Conkers Nogymx 26 days ago](https://obra.art/nogymx/conkers) [900K has passed 900,000 streams The Fujibayashi Legacy - Nogymx Remix Nogymx 29 days ago](https://obra.art/nogymx/the-fujibayashi-legacy-nogymx-remix) Most played ## Most played [01 Whispers of Eden Nogymx 15.017.784 15 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/whispers-of-eden) [02 Kodama Nogymx 4.539.099 4,5 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/kodama) [03 bikes at the pier Nogymx 3.579.173 3,6 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/bikes-at-the-pier) [04 Lost in Tokyo Nogymx 2.842.064 2,8 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/lost-in-tokyo) [05 Nocturne Nogymx 2.706.601 2,7 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/nocturne) [06 Call of the Wild Nogymx 1.914.678 1,9 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/call-of-the-wild) [07 Beyond the Waves Nogymx 1.452.718 1,5 M](https://obra.art/nogymx/beyond-the-waves) [08 The Fujibayashi Legacy - Nogymx Remix Nogymx 929.698 930 K](https://obra.art/nogymx/the-fujibayashi-legacy-nogymx-remix) [09 Conkers Nogymx 926.598 927 K](https://obra.art/nogymx/conkers) [10 Golden Summer Nogymx 449.427 449 K](https://obra.art/nogymx/golden-summer) Has worked with ## 1 artists.
