Bio

Samuel Soares, aka nocapz., is a 23-year-old Brazilian DJ and producer whose taste and intuition are gaining attention from underground tastemakers and global icons including ANOTR, Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, and The Martinez Brothers. Born in Salvador and now based in São Paulo, nocapz. brings the swing of his Bahian roots to the decks, blending 90s house textures with sharp percussion, rare grooves, and genre-blurring energy across house, tech house, minimal, afro house, and ghetto house. His sets are polished and groove-led — whether at Só Track Boa, Surreal Park, or Mochakk Calling Festival in Malta. As a producer he has released on Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Gruuv, Nervous Records, and Mochakk's MOTRAXX, with 2026 singles Sunflowers and Too Much keeping momentum high. Represented by Entourage in Brazil, nocapz. prioritizes cultural authenticity in every production: taste is everything.
