He studied audio production at Middle Tennessee State University before being mentored by Derek Minor and launching indie tribe, a collective he co-founded with Jon Keith, Mogli the Iceburg, and DJ Mykael V, that has become the defining home for artful, forward-thinking Christian hip hop. His 2022 collaboration 'King Jesus' with KB won a GMA Dove Award, and his work has been featured on Barack Obama's Summer Playlist and made him the inaugural winner of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert Fan Favorite vote in 2024. His sound blends trap, jazz, golden-era hip hop, and soul with concept-driven lyricism that wrestles with faith, ego, identity, and love. He has released multiple projects through 2025-2026 including 'REVIVAL!' and 'Investment,' with 870k monthly Spotify listeners and 337k Instagram followers. He also directs the annual Holy Smoke! Festival and the @smokefestival community.
