Niontay (Niontay Hicks) is an American rapper, producer, and beatmaker born in Milwaukee, raised in Florida, and now based in Brooklyn. He first made his name as a producer under the alias 'Sexafterchurch,' crafting beats for local New York rappers before stepping to the mic himself. Signed to MIKE's 10K label, his music fuses Midwest grit, southern cadence, and East Coast lyricism into a hazy, sample-driven take on experimental hip hop and cloud rap. He released his debut album Dontay's Inferno in 2023, followed by Fada<3of$ in April 2025 (featuring MAVI, El Cousteau, and Jadasea) and Soulja Hate Repellant in December 2025, producing much of the work himself alongside collaborators from Surf Gang. He's earned co-signs from Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE, appeared on the Earl Sweatshirt / MIKE / Surf Gang project Pompeii // Utility, and supported MIKE on tour.
