NINEXCIX is a Korean American producer, composer, songwriter, and rapper from Baltimore, Maryland, currently residing in Los Angeles. His music reflects a fusion of his Korean heritage and American upbringing, with a focus on creating innovative sounds that push the boundaries of rap and hip-hop. Starting as a beatmaker in Baltimore’s underground scene, NINEXCIX developed a sharp ear for blending soulful melodies with hard-hitting rhythms, and his lyricism tackles themes of identity, resilience, and ambition. Having moved to Los Angeles, NINEXCIX has collaborated with a range of artists across genres, earning a reputation for his versatility in production and his ability to craft music that resonates on both a personal and cultural level. His dual background influences his work, as he seamlessly merges the influences of both Eastern and Western music traditions. Known for his raw, energetic beats and sharp, introspective lyrics, NINEXCIX is quickly becoming a respected name in the music industry.
