Night Tempo (Jung Kyung-ho, born 1986 in Seoul) is a South Korean future funk producer, DJ and remixer based between the U.S. and Japan. He pioneered the future funk scene by reimagining 1980s Japanese city pop, Showa-era songs and Japanese disco through his "Showa Groove" series. He achieved fame in 2016 with his remix of Mariya Takeuchi "Plastic Love," which earned millions of views and built a following across Korea, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S. Beyond remixing he produces original work and collaborates extensively with vocalists and legacy Japanese artists, with a deep catalog and releases through June 2026. Roughly half of his releases are collaborations, making him a true producer-for-others.
