Singer, songwriter and producer Elias Hermann, professionally known as NAYM (pronounced "name"), is a Berlin-based musician writing in English to reach listeners beyond Germany. He started composing around age 12 on guitar and piano, then began recording his own songs during the 2020 lockdown and fell into full DIY production. After exploring rap, hip-hop, rock and pop under several names, he settled on NAYM in September 2023 and has since built a dark R&B / alternative catalogue with frequent singles and EPs. Recent releases include Paradise (July 2026), The Only (May 2026), Don't Wait For Me (March 2026) and collaborations such as what you know about me with CHRIS RAIN.
