Nathan Micay is a Toronto-born, Berlin-based composer, DJ and producer with a background in classical and folk music. Formerly recording as Bwana, he emerged in the post-dubstep era with releases on revered labels including AD93 (Whities) and LuckyMe. His 2019 debut album 'Blue Spring' was a euphoric, narrative-driven reimagining of rave music that earned widespread critical acclaim. Since 2020 he has composed the original score for HBO's acclaimed finance drama 'Industry', modernizing 1980s film-score aesthetics into contemporary electronic music. His sound blends sweeping, cinematic melody with spacious sound design and a distinctly human-centered approach to production. He remains prolific across both the club and the screen, with new music arriving throughout 2026.
