Nahokimama is a Tokyo-based multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer known for trumpet-led lo-fi jazz and neo-soul. She has played trumpet since age ten and frequently performs and records alongside her husband, neo-soul guitarist Toshiki Soejima — including the Scene and Kimama Beats LPs pressed on Stereofox vinyl and displayed at Tower Records Shibuya. In 2026 she launched Kyōdō, her first solo-led trilogy of collaborative EPs inviting global beatmakers like B-Side, Monsieur Teddy, Refeeld, and Nitsua to intersect with her expressive horn lines.
