muuju
muuju is the moniker of Berlin-based electronic producer Andreas Schütz, also known as one half of the downtempo duo il:lo. With muuju, Schütz steps into a more intimate and naive space—guided more by feeling than by form. Originally from Paris, the French-Austrian producer draws inspiration from dream pop, downtempo electronica, and the repetition of patterns found in minimalistic music. His debut EP bedforms arrived in September 2025 on Future Archive Recordings, followed by singles including pastel, zest, strata, and heim through 2025–2026. Tracks like heim explore displacement and belonging for artists living abroad, blending dreamlike electronica with warm vocal textures. Remixes for unsui and Ruffnux have earned placement across chill house and downtempo playlists, while Stereofox and CHILLFILTR have championed his solo work alongside il:lo's international touring and label releases on Anjunadeep and Nettwerk.
