Musumeci
Musumeci is the project of Mauro Di Martino, a Sicilian DJ, producer and label owner based in Modica, in the south of Italy, active behind the decks since the late 80s. Over the last decade he has amassed more than 200 productions and remixes, landing on a who's-who of electronic imprints including Bedrock, Diynamic, Innervisions, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, Sudbeat, Future Disco, Watergate, Toy Tonics and Compost. His breakthrough album 'The Gemini Project' arrived on his own Engrave Ltd, the label he co-founded with Dodi Palese in 2013, and he also helms the imprints Multinotes, Somethingnu and Buttress. His sound threads arpeggio-driven Italo, melodic house and hypnotic melodic/minimal techno into emotive, dancefloor-ready productions. A relentlessly prolific artist, in 2026 he has been releasing new singles and remixes almost weekly, including 'Musica Elettrica', 'Belem Beat' and 'Thinking About You'.
