Moses Yoofee Trio is a Berlin-based group led by pianist and producer Moses Yoofee alongside bassist Roman Klobe-Barangă and drummer Noah Fürbringer, blending jazz with hip-hop, R&B, and soul into tight, explosive live performances. Formed after meeting at Berlin's Jazz Institute during the pandemic, the trio built a global audience through viral rehearsal videos before signing to Nils Frahm's LEITER label for their 2023 mini-album Ocean and 2025 debut MYT. Following international acclaim for MYT, they returned in May 2026 with Chasing Light — a six-track EP distilling hours of Neukölln rehearsal-room energy into their most instinctive and infectiously unrestrained record yet, available on vinyl and all digital platforms. The group has played Ronnie Scott's in London, Montreux Jazz Festival, Winter Jazzfest, and a packed 2026 European tour schedule spanning Cross The Tracks, Istanbul, Copenhagen, and Nancy Jazz Pulsations. Their sound channels J Dilla and Madlib through sophisticated jazz arrangements where Moses's fluid piano lines lock with Fürbringer's deft rhythms and Klobe-Barangă's understated bass — music built to be felt on the floor and in headphones alike.
