Bio

Moose Dawa is a Swedish beatmaker based in Malmö who has been active in the instrumental hip-hop scene since 2011. He broke through with his 2014 self-released Felia Mea EP, showcasing deep crate-digging and sample-based production enriched with jazz and soul influences — swing-filled drums, organic instruments, and dusty vinyl textures that nod to J Dilla's golden-era approach. Over the years he has released on Chillhop Music, Radio Juicy, Ninetofive, Flow Theory, and Stereofox Records (including Nostalgia 65), collaborated with Psalm Trees on Dreams From The Shore, and co-founded the Alleycat Anthem collective. His music has landed on Spotify editorials such as Jazz Vibes, Mellow Vibes, lofi beats, and Smooth Jazz Beats, with support from 270k+ independent playlists and over 5M streams across DSPs. He hosts a program on Swedish National Radio (P1 Kultur) and has worked with Reason Studios on production content. Recent catalog highlights include 2024 albums Paramnesia and February Sepia, and the May 2026 single Outside Cruisin'.
