Mofak is a funk and hip-hop producer and talkbox player from Marseille, France — one of the rare European artists to truly master the talkbox, the iconic instrument of G-Funk popularized by Roger Troutman. A former dancer rooted in the Poppin' community, he moved into production and built an international reputation bridging West Coast hip-hop and French funk. He has collaborated with Xzibit, Kokane, Soopafly, Lil' Eazy-E and Tray Dee, and earned recognition from Snoop Dogg as one of the genre's standout producers. Across albums like Mofeezy, Drunk of Funk and My Town he refined a signature blend of G-Funk and P-Funk grooves, performing live from Los Angeles and Montreal to Japan and France. His latest album, the nine-track Funk Face (June 2026), draws on the raw energy of 80s funk and Rick James-era production.
