Model Man
Model Man is the electronic music project of Mark Brandon, a producer born and raised in Chelmsford, Essex. Trained in classical piano from childhood while absorbing UK garage, house, and '90s rave culture from his surroundings, he fuses emotive piano melodies with club-ready basslines, two-step rhythms, and lo-fi house textures. His self-titled debut album on Mahogany Records (2021) and subsequent singles have earned editorial support from BBC Radio 1 tastemakers including Pete Tong and Annie Mac, plus placements on Spotify's New Music Friday. He tours internationally as both DJ and live performer — with shows at fabric, Sub Club, and festivals across the UK, US, and Mexico — and continues an active release schedule, including the June 2026 single "When You Smile" and the April 2026 EP "Over".
