Bio

Misc.Inc is the project of Marc, a self-taught producer, sound designer and beatmaker based in Dresden, Germany. Since 2012 he has been crafting chilled, cinematic lo-fi hip-hop and downtempo/electronica, drawing on influences from Tycho, J Dilla, Ben Böhmer and ODESZA. His warm, melodic instrumentals have amassed over 40 million Spotify streams and roughly 200,000 monthly listeners, with a catalogue of more than 80 releases across three albums plus EPs and singles, and appearances on labels including Stereofox Records and Monstercat. Beyond his own music he is a respected educator in the producer community: his "Bedroom Beats" sample-pack series on Splice has surpassed two million downloads, he has earned worldwide sample-pack awards, and he teaches lo-fi production through Sonic Academy. Misc.Inc remains highly active, with his latest single "Echoes of Time" arriving in June 2026.
