Mickey Blue is a producer born and raised in NY/NJ — hip hop has been part of his life since age 7, always fascinated with making music. Based in New Jersey, he crafts gritty, cinematic boom-bap soundscapes that blend classic East Coast foundations with modern underground edge: dusty samples, bass-filled beats, razor-sharp drums, and ominous textures. His debut production album A Long Time Coming (2023) enlisted underground heavyweights across grimey street bangers and up-tempo joints; follow-ups include 2nd Story and Speer Village Alum (2025), both co-produced with Rasheed Chappell. He has worked with Apathy, Celph Titled, M-Dot, Spit Gemz, Crimeapple, ETO, Copywrite, and Tone Spliff on cuts. His June 2026 EP ILLusion of Permanence is a hard-hitting collection featuring an all-star independent hip-hop lineup — Mick brings the authentic sound that boom-bap purists have been missing.
