Metic
Metic fuses soulful guitar grooves with laid-back hip-hop beats. While his playing is rooted in blues and fingerstyle guitar, his productions are informed by 90s boom bap, G-funk and trip-hop. A frequent collaborator, the Brooklyn-based Hong Kong native continues to draw inspiration from both cities — documented across albums like Thoughts on Home and Symmetry and the Stereofox Records EP Soul Feather. He has also explored ambient and beatmaking borders with Hong Kong producer Norvik on A Fleeting Dream in Waking Life, and co-founded the project Horizon Terminal with Lamchop (including the LP Pastel Lovers). In July 2026 he guested on AHNAMUSICA's Stereofox single Petrichor, adding guitar to warm boom-bap production. Find him across socials as @meticmusic.
