Melé (Krissy Peers) is a Liverpool-born producer, DJ and selector who has spent over a decade carving out a distinctive sound that meshes world-music-influenced house, transatlantic hip-hop, broader UK club sounds and classic Chicago grooves. He first broke through with bass-heavy UK club records before evolving into one of the country's most respected house producers, with releases and mixes for Defected (including the 'In The House' compilation series) and a long history of FACT and festival mixes. In 2018 he launched Club Bad, which grew from a party into a fashion line and record label built on a high-quality, no-compromise ethos. His tribal, Latin and disco-tinged house has made him a fixture on international dancefloors and a consistent presence at major festivals. He remains active, releasing new club material through 2026.
