Bio

Megisto is the artist project of Manav Dave, a London-based DJ and producer originally from India. He started producing at 13 and moved to London at 18 to study music, earning a First-Class Honours degree in Music Production and Performance. After meeting Martin Garrix at ADE 2023, a year of back-and-forth led to him becoming the youngest and first Indian artist signed to STMPD RCRDS. His 2024 debut "Abyss" became a staple in Garrix's festival sets, debuting at EDC Las Vegas, while releases like "Somewhere In Between" and the May 2026 collaboration "Don't Look Back" with Laidback Luke keep a sharp release cadence on the label. His sound blends emotional melody, analog warmth, and modern festival energy across bass house and tech house — the alias shares its name with a butterfly species known for light and dark contrasts, mirroring his production philosophy. Support from Steve Angello, R3hab, and Rave Quarters press, plus shows from Tokyo and China to Ushuaïa Ibiza and Gunnersbury Park, mark him as a motivated mid-tier producer building global momentum.
