Mega Drive is an American darksynth and synthwave producer based in Dallas, Texas, active since 2012. His relentlessly dark, cyberpunk-tinged sound was cemented by the acclaimed 198XAD (2014) and built across albums like VHS, Hardwired and the AD series. His music featured on the soundtrack of the cult video game Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (2015). In 2019 he partnered with FiXT Neon, Klaytons synthwave imprint, releasing 199XAD. He keeps a prolific release pace, with new music dropping into 2026.
