Martyn (Martijn Deijkers) is a Dutch producer, DJ and writer, born in Eindhoven and now based in Washington, D.C. Exploring several sonic palettes since the mid-90s, his sound traces back to UK-originated hybrids of bass music — uk funky, breakbeat, dub techno and IDM — laced with a Detroit-influenced jazz sensibility. In 2007 he co-founded the influential 3024 label alongside visual artist Jeroen Erosie, and in 2020 he launched an Artist Mentoring Program to develop emerging producers through one-to-one lessons and Q&As with figures like Skee Mask, Bicep and dBridge. His catalog spans acclaimed albums such as The Air Between Words (2014), Voids (2018) and Through Lines (2024). His latest album, Music for Existing, arrived in May 2026, following the singles Heavy Sound and No One Plays The Game.
