Mad Keys is a St. Louis-native, Washington D.C.-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and sound designer who fuses jazz, hip-hop, soul, and electronic music. A classically trained violinist since age nine, he began making beats in middle school with his brother, drawing on jazz greats like Herbie Hancock and Ahmad Jamal alongside beat pioneers such as J Dilla and Flying Lotus. He released his debut project LoveWaves in 2015 and the full-length album Balance in 2020, built around live arrangements with local musicians, and his track "Big Open Spaces" has quietly passed a million streams. His work has been championed by labels including Soulection, Inner Ocean Records, and PLYGRND Music, and he toured Europe alongside Oddisee & Good Company. Beyond his own catalog he has executed brand partnerships with Roland, Splice, Adobe, Givenchy, and Jordan. He releases prolifically across albums, EPs, and singles, with new music out as recently as May 2026.
