Lofi Cody is Cody Taylor, an independent composer and producer from the wilds of British Columbia, Canada. Since 2020 he has built a deep catalog of cozy instrumental and electronic music, reimagining beloved video game and film soundtracks while also releasing original lo-fi and chill house under his Janeway Protocol alias. He founded HumbleBeats Records, a collective and label championing independent lo-fi artists, and writes The Humble Report on Substack about the scene. His releases span Zelda and Lord of the Rings tribute albums, Star Wars-inspired beat tapes, and collaborations with peers across the VGM lo-fi community.
