Liim (Liim Lasalle) is a 22-year-old artist, producer and songwriter raised in Harlem and based in New York City. Since debuting in 2022 he has carved out a genre-blurring sound that fuses hip-hop, soul and alternative textures, built from dissonant jazz loops, ghostly soul fragments and loose, freeform lyricism that reflects the raw energy of NYC. His catalog includes standout tracks like "Petty Pete", "Edward 40 Handz", "Mezcal" and "Why Why", culminating in his debut project "Liim Lasalle Loves You" (2025). His work has been co-signed by Tyler, The Creator and featured by Rolling Stone, Highsnobiety, Hypebeast and Pigeons & Planes, who included him on their "See You Next Year 3" compilation in 2026.
