LIGHTLEAK is a DJ and producer born in Laguna Beach, California, who relocated to Amsterdam in 2023 to study electronic music production and immerse himself in Europe's minimal deep tech underground. Blending groove-heavy drums, tight basslines, and a colorful California-meets-Amsterdam edge, he broke through in 2025 when his Shelter EP on Jamie Jones' Hottrax hit #1 on Beatport's House chart and trended #1 across SoundCloud for two weeks, earning BBC Radio 1 support. Follow-up releases on PIV Club, TSZR, and a May 2026 collaboration with Danny Howard on "The Pipe" keep his release cadence monthly, while DJ support from Solomun, Rossi., Traumer, Jamie Jones, and Pete Tong validates his club reach. Named in Beatportal's On Our Radar (January 2026) as part of the new guard making minimal deep tech brighter and more playable, LIGHTLEAK is building a catalog that bridges underground credibility with dancefloor accessibility.
