Lenny Fontana is a New York City house music DJ and producer known as 'Powerhouse,' who trained under legendary radio personality DJ Frankie Crocker at WBLS 107.5 and was inspired by DJ Larry Levan at Paradise Garage. He performed at Studio 54 in the late 1980s and made history as the first US DJ to perform at Pacha Ibiza in 1992. His 2000 hit 'Chocolate Sensation' became a Top 10 UK chart entry with MTV worldwide rotation, and 'Raise Your Hands' with D-Train reached #3 on the UK Music Week Club Chart. He has produced for artists including Octah'via of C+C Music Factory on Defected Records, and collaborated extensively with vocalists Vangela Crowe and Alison Limerick. In 2013 he launched Karmic Power Records, his independent label with global distribution. He also runs 'True House Stories,' a landmark podcast featuring Carl Cox, Louie Vega, David Morales, and Norman Jay. In 2026 alone he has released eight singles across various labels including his own Black Sun imprint.
