Laurentius is the stage name of Dutch producer Lars Beerda, based in Zwolle, Netherlands. Since 2014 he has built a tropical house and uplifting dance-pop catalog under the 'Smile More' vision — blending exotic instrumentation with catchy melodies for a sound supported by peers like Sam Feldt, Kygo, and Lost Frequencies. His work has surpassed 25 million streams, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic Production (2019), and landed on Spotify Top 50 charts through releases on Sony Music and Universal Music. In 2025 he co-created 'Can You Hear Me,' the official anthem for WHO World Hearing Day with fellow Dutch artist KULI.
