Kr!z
Kr!z is a Belgian techno DJ, producer and label boss based in Ghent. He emerged from the Belgian and Dutch club circuits — including a long residency at the legendary Kozzmozz night — before founding the influential Token Records in 2007, an imprint that has gone on to release purist, hypnotic techno from artists such as Luke Slater, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and Inigo Kennedy. Drawing on veterans like Jeff Mills, Steve Rachmad and James Ruskin, his sound is built on deeply hypnotic grooves, syncopated rhythms and widely reverberating atmospheres. After more than a decade focused on A&R and curation, he stepped into the studio himself, debuting as a producer with the acclaimed 'Mantra' EP in 2019 and following it with releases on Blueprint, SK_Eleven and MindTrip alongside his own Token. He remains highly active, with 2026 singles 'Inferno' and 'Footprints' out on the label. He sums up his output as 'always straightforward, sometimes weird, often catchy.'
