Born in Molde and trained at the Norwegian Academy of Music, he was named Young Jazz Musician of the Year in 2012 with the quintet Mopti and spent years touring Europe, India, and Japan before shifting his focus to beatmaking and production. His sound blends acoustic and electronic textures—warm jazz chords, lyrical trumpet improvisations, lo-fi grooves, and ambient synth work—drawing from jazz, hip hop, electronica, and R&B. After collaborations with Ivan Ave, Fredfades, and Ol' Burger Beats, he emerged as a solo producer on Chillhop Music compilations and Mutual Intentions, where his 2025 ambient album Beneath the Sky and Moments Between expanded his catalog into serene FM-synth soundscapes. He also releases as Eiki and continues to sculpt beats, sample packs, and instrumental hip-hop from his Oslo studio. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem#artistas) 4.3M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2025 Verified streams · verified today 4,257,026 +12 K a day · +370 K a month, on average 20 projects · 7 artists · since 2025 spotify 100 % 4,257,026 86 days · Total ## Records [700K has passed 700,000 streams Morning Light Kristoffer Eikrem 18 days ago](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/morning-light) [700K has passed 700,000 streams Morning Light Kristoffer Eikrem 18 days ago](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/morning-light-2) [30K has passed 30,000 streams Among the Trees Kristoffer Eikrem 18 days ago](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/among-the-trees) [80K has passed 80,000 streams Revere Gas Lab, Kristoffer Eikrem 22 days ago](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/revere) Most played ## Most played [01 volatile birdnote, Kristoffer Eikrem 877.809 878 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/volatile) [02 Morning Light Kristoffer Eikrem 702.305 702 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/morning-light) [03 Morning Light Kristoffer Eikrem 702.305 702 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/morning-light-2) [04 Otoño Gas Lab, Kristoffer Eikrem 398.820 399 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/otono) [05 bâtonnage birdnote, Kristoffer Eikrem 218.049 218 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/batonnage) [06 Green Line RMB Justize, Kristoffer Eikrem 160.800 161 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/green-line) [07 élevage birdnote, Kristoffer Eikrem 136.733 137 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/elevage) [08 Sunday Evening Kristoffer Eikrem 93.766 94 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/sunday-evening-3) [09 Sunday Evening Kristoffer Eikrem 93.766 94 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/sunday-evening-2) [10 Revere Gas Lab, Kristoffer Eikrem 82.403 82 K](https://obra.art/kristoffer-eikrem/revere) Has worked with ## 7 artists.
