KLIM (aka KLIM beats) is a Kyiv-based beatmaker and producer who has been releasing music since March 2010, building one of the deepest catalogs in the modern lo-fi/jazz beats scene with 200+ Spotify releases and 40+ albums on Bandcamp. He is an in-house member of Ninetofive Records, fusing classic East Coast boom bap (NY, Detroit) with golden-era jazz samples and rare 1980s Eastern European records. His signature soulful-but-hardknocking sound leans heavily on hardware production — especially the E-mu SP-1200 and Akai S-900 samplers — which give his beats their distinctive grit, swing, and analog character. Recent flagship releases include 'Astro Objects' (2026, also issued as a limited 12" vinyl in collaboration with Legacy Echo and distributed via HHV Berlin), 'ТАЛІСМАН' (2026), 'The Jazz Niche' (2025), and earlier landmarks like 'Planet SP1200'. He has continued to produce and release prolifically through wartime conditions in Kyiv, and has been featured by iMusician's Artist of the Month spotlight as well as UndergroundHipHopBlog.
