Killabeatmaker is the project of Medellín-based Colombian DJ, producer and songwriter Hilder Brando Osorno, fusing traditional Colombian and indigenous sounds with global electronic, afrobeat, amapiano and club music. The name draws from “killa” (moon in Quechua): gaita, tambora, alegre, cuatro llanero and traditional vocals meet electronic beats, synths, vocal improvisation and beatboxing. On stage he leads a live trio with Guadalupe Giraldo (gaita, tambora, lead vocals) and Julián Ramírez (percussion, backing vocals). His catalog spans albums and singles including Inga, Sueño Profundo, Wayra-era releases and 2026 cuts like Bocado Cosmico and Origen Madre. Press and radio support include BBC Radio 1, Pan African Music and OkayAfrica; he has toured Europe extensively (Sziget, Musicbox Lisbon, Helsinki Festival and more) with summer 2026 dates across Germany, the UK and Spain. He also founded Medellín’s Radiocaliente and works as a sound engineer (Latin Grammy–nominated credit with Don Tetto).
