Influenced by boom-bap and dusty crate-digging culture, he weaves vintage samplers and live instrumentation into warm, nostalgic lo-fi and jazz-hop instrumentals. Active since 2018, his catalog has surpassed 50 million streams across DSPs, with editorial placements on Spotify playlists like lofi beats, Jazz Vibes, and lush lofi, plus Apple Music's BEATstrumentals. Beyond his solo releases — including albums Penthouse View (2026) and Colorwave Seasons — he has produced for Mick Jenkins, Vic Mensa, Saba, and Evidence. Represented by Stereofox Records, he releases at a prolific pace with new singles and EPs landing monthly, building a dedicated global listener base in the chillhop scene. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/kid-taro#artistas) 2.3M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2024 Verified streams · verified today 2,258,993 +457 a day · +14 K a month, on average 20 projects · 5 artists · since 2024 spotify 100 % 2,258,993 81 days · Total ## Records [40K has passed 40,000 streams Roadtrip Vibes Kid Tarô 18 days ago](https://obra.art/kid-taro/roadtrip-vibes) [20K has passed 20,000 streams Summer Of 95 Kid Tarô 53 days ago](https://obra.art/kid-taro/summer-of-95) [60K has passed 60,000 streams Summer Breezy Kid Tarô, Shukgotbeats 130 days ago](https://obra.art/kid-taro/summer-breezy) Most played ## Most played [01 Rain in Kyōto Kid Tarô, Shukgotbeats 1.665.634 1,7 M](https://obra.art/kid-taro/rain-in-kyoto) [02 Spring Time Kid Tarô 81.264 81 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/spring-time) [03 Summer Breezy Kid Tarô, Shukgotbeats 68.393 68 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/summer-breezy) [04 New York State Of Mind Kid Tarô 57.948 58 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/new-york-state-of-mind) [05 sunset ballin Kid Tarô, Shukgotbeats 54.805 55 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/sunset-ballin) [06 Summer Soft Kid Tarô 47.513 48 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/summer-soft) [07 Alley Oop Kid Tarô, The BREED 44.709 45 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/alley-oop) [08 Roadtrip Vibes Kid Tarô 40.051 40 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/roadtrip-vibes) [09 Summer Of 95 Kid Tarô 29.823 30 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/summer-of-95) [10 Jazz Motel Kid Tarô, Shukgotbeats 23.339 23 K](https://obra.art/kid-taro/jazz-motel) Has worked with ## 5 artists.
