Bio

Kareem Ali is a New York-born, Phoenix-based electronic producer and one of the most prolific names in contemporary deep and jazz house, with over 200 million streams and a catalog of nearly 100 releases built at a famously breakneck pace. His sound blends fluid jazz musicianship, lo-fi warmth and driving house rhythms with a deeply Afrofuturist vision — music about utopian Black futures and liberation, inspired by Sun Ra, Herbie Hancock, Larry Heard, Underground Resistance and Drexciya. A self-releasing artist on his own CosmoFlux label (which he has since turned into a non-profit supporting aspiring Black artists), he has earned recognition from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Boiler Room and a 2022 SXSW spotlight, plus co-signs from Four Tet, Bicep, Caribou and Pete Tong. With around 229,000 monthly Spotify listeners and a relentless release schedule — his most recent music dropped in spring 2026 — Ali is a fully independent, do-it-all producer operating right in the sweet spot of a mid-tier artist on a hot streak.
