Julian Mendez
Julian Mendez is a 19-year-old independent music producer and beatmaker based between Houston, Texas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He runs his own imprint Mendez Music, releasing instrumentals and remixes directly to Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube rather than staying in the anonymous type-beat lane. His viral remix of "7 Weeks & 3 Days" pushed him past six million total streams and over 100,000 monthly listeners, inspiring other young producers to publish beats under their own artist names. Mendez works in FL Studio, blending hip-hop, pop, and nostalgic textures—from Windows 95 and Oasis remixes to originals like "6pm at Sunset," "Afterglow," and "Still Waiting (To the Sky)." He pre-saves new drops via Linktree and documents the journey on Instagram and YouTube as @julianmendezmusic.
