Bio

Ivory is the project of Daniel Tagliaferri, a Milan-based producer, DJ and guitarist who has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary melodic house and techno. A former band guitarist whose love for electronic music grew in the '90s through Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers and Aphex Twin, he channels that musicality into a surreal, cinematic and deeply emotive sound. His productions have found homes on electronic music's most prestigious imprints — Afterlife, Innervisions, Kompakt and Multinotes — and his hypnotic storytelling began with a residency at Milan's renowned Volt Club before taking him across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Inspired by the image of a Tuscan tower, Ivory treats his music as a refuge that stands apart from passing trends. Recent releases including 'Back Again' (May 2026), 'Fantasy' and his remix work keep him in steady rotation across the melodic underground.
