Ital Tek
Ital Tek is the project of British electronic producer Alan Myson, based in Brighton, UK and active since the mid-2000s. He emerged on Mike Paradinas's influential Planet Mu label with his 2008 debut 'Cyclical', helping shape the dubstep and breakstep wave, before evolving through footwork-influenced work like 'Nebula Dance' (2012) toward a darker, cinematic and introspective sound. Across albums such as 'Hollowed' (2016), 'Bodied' (2018) and 'Timeproof' (2023) he fused IDM, ambient, footwork and orchestral textures into widescreen electronic music, work that has also extended into film and TV scoring. In May 2026 he returned with the ten-track album 'Mind Abandon', continuing his signature blend of melodic atmosphere and rhythmic invention. With a deep catalog and an instantly recognizable production style, Ital Tek remains one of the most respected names in UK experimental electronic music.
