Iñigo Vontier is a DJ and producer from Guadalajara, México, and one of the leading voices in the new generation of Mexican electronic music. He began making beats on a cheap drum machine in the early 2000s and started releasing as Iñigo Vontier around 2013, developing a cosmic, psychedelic sound that fuses techno, house and trance with the textures of ancestral ritual. He has released on international labels including Turbo Recordings, Correspondant, Lumière Noire, Her Majesty's Ship and My Favorite Robot, and earned support from the likes of Solomun, Dixon, Tiga, Maceo Plex and Âme. He is co-founder of Calypso Records (with Thomass Jackson), a vinyl-focused label and party series dedicated to dance and psychedelic music, and a member of the Born In México collective championing Mexican DJs and producers. His 2026 album 'Music For Dunkies' — a collaborative project as The Diyeis alongside Concret — continues a prolific run of releases and remixes for artists such as Metronomy, Yuksek, Red Axes and Nicola Cruz.
