Iman Omari is a 2x Grammy Award-winning producer, singer, songwriter, and DJ from Los Angeles, California, born of a Somalian mother and Jamaican father. Self-taught and a graduate of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Hamilton High School, he began as a producer-for-others — working with Kendrick Lamar and OverDoz. before launching a solo career at his friends' urging. He co-founded Vibe Music Group, a multi-disciplinary artist collective and record company, in 2015.
