Illyus Barrientos is a Glasgow-born DJ and producer known for raw, percussive house that balances groove, soul and dancefloor impact. With releases on Toolroom, Defected and Nervous Records, he has built a club-focused catalogue spanning originals and high-profile remixes for Duke Dumont, Dom Dolla, Purple Disco Machine, Sonny Fodera and others. 2026 opened with the Toolroom hit Deep Down and the underground favourite People’s Prty (support from Carl Cox, Chris Lake and Hot Since 82), followed by Never Let You Go with MK and Right Here with Brazilian rising star MALU. As a DJ he has played Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Printworks, Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa, CRSSD and Splash House, with a 2026 Ibiza run including Cova Santa and Ushuaïa. Alongside touring he works as A&R for Electronic Nature and hosts Toolroom Radio, bridging underground credibility and global house culture.
