Bio

iamalex is a Copenhagen-based producer working across lo-fi hip-hop, chillout, disco, and lo-fi house. He crafts warm, atmospheric beats that drift between sun-soaked, coastal grooves and deeper, darker sonic territories, citing Daft Punk, The Avalanches, and DJ Shadow as early influences. Since 2017 he has released six full-length albums and dozens of singles across vinyl, cassette, and digital, many in long-running collaboration with fellow Danish producer Felty under the Lofi Girl / Lofi Records umbrella — including 'Silk' (2021), 'New Day' (2022), 'Here's to the Memories' (2023), and 'Blue Bird' (2024). The 'Beats & Waves' tagline that runs through his catalogue captures the laid-back, beach-leaning feel of his sound. He remains highly active on Spotify with 424k monthly listeners and a steady release cadence, including 'Street Pizza / Beach Day' (April 2026), 'Windy Sunday' (February 2026), and 'Stuck in My Head' (January 2026).
