Human Movement is the project of Lebanese-Australian producer and DJ Edward Macdonald, crafting forward-thinking dance music rooted in hard-edged UK garage, 90s house, and old-school rave from bases in Eora (Sydney) and Amsterdam. A cult favourite with co-signs from Bonobo, DJ Seinfeld, Roza Terenzi, Logic1000, Ciel, Eris Drew, and Daniel Avery, his work has earned BBC Radio 1 Future Dance Track ID and Peak Time Mix spots, Boiler Room and Rinse FM sessions, and official remixes for Me & George, t e s t p r e s s, and Pretty Girl. His April 2026 debut album 50/50 on Gallery Recordings weaves Lebanese voice notes and family interviews with weighty UKG drums, reflecting his mixed Lebanese and Scottish/Irish heritage through themes of joy through struggle. With 15M+ streams, Triple J Mix Up residency in 2026, and a packed touring calendar across Australia, the UK, and Asia, Human Movement continues a prolific release run while advocating for Palestinian and Lebanese liberation through his platform.
