Hinako Omori is a Japanese-British producer, composer and sound designer based in London, born in Yokohama and raised in the UK. A Tonmeister graduate (BSc Music & Sound Recording, University of Surrey), she builds immersive sonic architectures from analog synthesizers — Oberheim OB-6, Prophet '08, Moog Matriarch — layered with binaural field recordings and her own vocals. Her debut album 'A Journey...' (2022) was called 'remarkable' by Pitchfork and 'blissfully restorative' by Loud and Quiet, followed by 'stillness, softness...' (2023) and 'Studies On A River' (2025), all on Houndstooth, the imprint of London's Fabric. Beyond her solo work she has done session and live work with James Bay, Ed O'Brien, Kae Tempest, KT Tunstall, Floating Points and the London Contemporary Orchestra. She has performed at the Southbank Centre, The National Gallery and St Paul's Cathedral, and at festivals including Le Guess Who?, Amsterdam Dance Event, Pitchfork London and The Great Escape.
