PRODUCER · DJ · SONGWRITER

Gryr is a Swedish electronic artist and producer based in Gothenburg, crafting texture-driven music shaped by restraint and subtle tension. After years performing internationally at Roskilde Festival, SXSW, Way Out West, and Boiler Room — with coverage in The Guardian, The Fader, and Highsnobiety — he stepped into his solo identity in 2022 with the debut single Bloom and has since mapped a catalogue of atmospheric singles, remixes, and EPs between ambient-leaning melodic house and cinematic electronica. His 2026 run on Blank Dust includes the Hymn EP (May 2026) alongside singles Sand, Drift, and Hymn, continuing a streak of patient, immersive productions highlighted by Stereofox and Plastic Magazine. Collaborations with Adna, Hannes Kretzer, Jonatan Josefsson, and Jesse Brown inform his sound, but the core project remains his own: depth over noise, tension over theatrics, time over urgency.
